The medieval town of Shrewsbury welcomes you to the staging of the 10th annual 'JT Hughes Group' Shrewsbury Sprint Triathlon & Quadrathlon. 

The ever popular SYTri (Shrewsbury Triathlon Club) stage the event which strives to improve year on year and provides the unique 'TYR' 500m (downstream-wetsuit required) river swim, (Quadrathlon competitors then complete a 4k kayak) followed by a 23k fast undulating bike course on country roads. Finishing with a flat & fast traffic free 5k run inside the showgroud (your supporters are never far away) on mixed surface paths. Excellent race for both beginners and experienced athletes looking for a PB!

NOTE

The first 100 individual entries are early bird special prices at £39.50 and £45 thereafter

The first 20 quadrathlon entries are early bird special prices at £44.50 and £50 thereafter

Please be advised that this event has sold out for the last 9 years and with it being our 10th in 2020 we will be expecting high demand!

Refund Policy

Any cancellation notifications must be received by SYtri (Shrewsbury Triathlon) in writing (email). A 50% refund (of the race entry fee) will be given for cancellations received up to midnight on Sunday 26th July 2020,

(6 weeks prior to the event). No refunds of any description (including transfers or deferments) will be given after this date. In the unlikely event that the race is cancelled by the organiser then all competitors may be given a credit for the 2021 event.

This race requires athletes to have a race licence in order to take part the cost of which has been included in the entry price. Members of Triathlon England/Triathlon Wales will receive a refund at registration on the day, only if they produce there current membership card.
